# The Mapless Age

**One sentence:** The mapless age is the present condition: six compounding certainties dissolving at once - competence, reality, life path, access, habitat, meaning - taking with them the maps people navigated by.

**Articulation:** They compound rather than queue; the felt experience is groundlessness. The book takes its subtitle from this condition, and the framework exists because the maps are not coming back.

**One-liner:** Formation used to be mandatory. Now it is elective. That changes who you become by accident.
